Gill Residence

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Gill Residents are recent retirees that wanted to add a man cave to their home and expand their Primary bathroom. The property had the perfect spot in the backyard to extend the home for the man cave. This gave us the opportunity to expended the primary bathroom on the second level over the man cave. We worked with the architect on various roof line options. Once the roof line design was agreed upon then we continued to develop the mancave layout and the primary bathroom. This project grew into a new deck and added bar area. Because there is a pool in the back yard we had to be mindful of the flooring we put in the man cave. Our solution was to put commercial carpet tiles in the space due to durability and the ease of replacing if chlorine caused damage. Plus, if they host parties in the future this flooring will hold up very well with alcohol spills. This room was a great addition for this couple to enjoy retirement.
